This Saturday I had the privilege to watch Dr. Harry Wong speak about how to be an effective teacher. I brought my students (aspiring to be teachers) to this conference featuring Dr. H. Wong. I was a little skeptical when I saw on the agenda he was to speak for 2.5 hours. I thought for sure my students would be bored. However, I was wrong. Dr. Harry Wong was funny, straight-forward, and inspiring. The time flew. My students took pages of notes, and they were clamoring to get his book. If you get the chance to see him present, then do it. It will be worth it.
